Texas Flooding
A severe storm turned into intense flooding the weekend of July 4th, 2025. With flood waters raising the Guadalupe River by more than 20 feet in less than an hour, over 130 people lost their lives including some of the children who were attending Camp Mystic for the summer. Kerr County, Texas was hit the hardest with a reported 107 deaths alone. Communities are facing great loss and grief as well as several homes damaged by the floodwaters. Operation Blessing brought help and hope to the hurting people of Texas, as well as suffering after disasters all around the world. Your generosity can help provide aid to families who have lost everything, bringing relief and hope to disaster survivors.
Texas Flooding
Torrential rainfall brought disaster to residents of Texas along the Guadalupe River after flood waters raised more than 20 feet in less than an hour. The intense flooding claimed the lives of over 130 people, some of which were children. Officials called it a “100-year catastrophe,” due to the unprecedented speed of the rising water. Experts estimate the economic loss of the disaster is anywhere between $18 billion to $22 billion.

As of now, our team is helping families restore their homes by removing mud, muck and debris from their yards and houses.
