At Operation Blessing, we know that giving back is important to companies and corporations—that every opportunity to help make a positive impact in the life of a child, a family and a community is an opportunity worth taking. And we want to help make that possible. Whether your company is donating medicine, food or volunteer time, we’re committed to making sure your corporate gift-in-kind donations go straight to those in need, here in the United States and around the world.
How gift-in-kind donations work
Operation Blessing’s Hunger Strike Force fleet of tractor trailers picks up and delivers truckloads of gift-in-kind donated food and relief product across America. Upon request, our transportation management team can provide drop trailers at manufacturer’s facilities. After OB picks up your gift-in-kind donation, it is then transported, at no cost to the corporate donor, to one of our strategically located distribution centers, where product is sorted for continued dispatch to our national network of relief agencies and food pantries. Gift-in-kind donations are then placed in the hands of those in need. The entire process of donation pick-up and distribution is covered by procedures that ensure the security of all corporate donations.
