National First Responders Day is today, October 28! Operation Blessing is partnering with the City of Norfolk to bring police officers, firefighters, and other first responders together for a special mission!
On October 27, these local heroes assembled 500 First Responder Care Kits filled with essential supplies to support fellow responders serving on the front lines of disasters across the United States in 2027.
From first aid supplies and hydration essentials to emergency rescue tools, each kit is designed to provide practical support when it’s needed most.
Thanks to the generosity of @homedepotfoundation, we’re helping equip those who dedicate their lives to helping others. Team Depot, The Home Depot’s associate volunteer force, also stepped up to help with this project.

After a devastating earthquake damaged her home in Venezuela, she was left wondering where her family could safely stay.
