KENYA- For 10 years, Daniel watched life pass him by. As a painful tumor grew larger and larger on his face, simple things most people take for granted became impossible. Eating solid food was a daily struggle. Finding work was out of reach. Even being around other people became painful because of the way they looked at him. “My social life has been ruined,” Daniel said. “I feel really sad when I see my peers going on with their lives.” While friends his age got married, built businesses, and started families, Daniel remained trapped at home — suffering physically, emotionally, and financially.
