Several days of torrential rainfall led to dangerous flooding throughout southern Mexico, claiming the lives of at least 64 people and leaving entire neighborhoods underwater and families trapped in their homes. Overflowing rivers have destroyed roads, homes, and businesses in Veracruz, one of the hardest-hit regions. Thousands of people fled for higher ground and didn’t have access to food, clean water, or power. Operation Blessing was there—bringing help and hope to those hurting the most. Our disaster response team served hot meals to flood victims, and our mobile kitchen became a gathering place for hope and comfort to those who lost everything. Your compassion can be the lifeline for families crying out in times of disaster, rushing tangible help and support to those who need it most.
Mexico Flooding
Thousands of people fled from rising waters after massive rainfall caused severe flooding throughout southern Mexico. Thousands were displaced as homes, roads, and businesses flooded.
Thanks to friends like you, Operation Blessing’s global disaster relief team was able to join our local team in Mexico to respond quickly, bringing much-needed relief to victims of this deadly flood. Our mobile kitchen provided hot meals, community, and comfort for those who were displaced from their homes.
