New Normal – Thank You for a Great 2025!

WORLDWIDE – For so many families around the world, hardship is normal. A mother walks miles just to find water that still isn’t safe to drink. A father watches helplessly as his child goes to bed hungry. And when sickness strikes, there’s nowhere to turn—no clinic, no medicine, no way to ease their child’s pain. This is their reality. But this is where friends like you show up. This year, thanks to your generosity, Operation Blessing has been creating something powerful: a new normal.

From Kenya to Mexico, the Philippines to Peru, our teams have been on the ground meeting urgent needs and planting seeds of lasting change. Here’s what’s remarkable—more than 4,000 volunteers gave over 29,000 hours of their time this year. That’s a movement. People rolling up their sleeves and refusing to let the old normal win.

And at the heart of it all are the children. Through our child development programs, you impacted more than 50,000 lives across 64 countries. Because of you, children are learning, growing, and discovering their God-given potential. You helped empower them to dream of how they can lead and shape brighter futures. They are no longer just surviving—that’s generational change. That’s a new normal that lasts, which no statistic can fully quantify.

More than 70 water projects launched this year across the globe, bringing clean, safe water to more than 11,000 people. That water does more than quench thirst. It allows children to go back to school instead of spending hours walking to find water. It keeps families healthy. It enables crops to grow. And one day, a new generation of children will never remember a time without clean water. That’s the new normal you’re helping to build.

Clean water opens the door. And with clean water comes food. When families have enough to eat, real opportunity opens up. Across the United States alone, you made it possible to distribute more than 7.5 million meals this year. Hunger doesn’t take a holiday—and neither do you. Good nutrition means health, and where there’s health, there’s hope.

And speaking of health—this year, you helped more than 50,000 people receive the medical care they desperately needed. You also made 900 life-changing surgeries possible. These aren’t just procedures—they are restored futures. A grandmother who can finally see her grandchildren’s faces. A child who can smile without shame. This is what the new normal looks like—where God’s love is realized in every changed life.

But building a new normal means investing in tomorrow while addressing today’s needs. This year, you helped launch 190 livelihood businesses—sewing programs, food carts, farming co-ops. These are real people learning real skills, generating real income, and gaining real independence. Mothers who can provide for their children. Fathers who can stand tall again. Families breaking free from cycles of poverty that have held them back for generations.

And when disaster struck—and it did, 36 times this year—you helped us show up fast and ready to serve. Because of you, Operation Blessing helped families recover from disasters an average of three times per month. With your support, staff, volunteers, and neighbors became the hands and feet of Christ, bringing help and hope in some of the darkest moments.

God works all things for good. And when we stand together, united in His mission, a new normal can rise from the rubble.

Through every season, every challenge, one truth has held us steady: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8, ESV). His faithfulness never wavers. And because of that, neither does our hope.

You’ve been part of something extraordinary this year. Lives changed. Futures rewritten. A new normal taking root in places that had forgotten what hope looked like. You’ve made so much possible.

But let’s be honest—many families are still waiting for their new normal. For all the progress made, the mission goes forward. And we cannot do it without you.

Together, we can bring water where there’s thirst, food where there’s hunger, health where there’s suffering, and opportunity where there’s despair. So let’s keep building. Let’s keep changing the future—together.
