“When disaster strikes, we strike back —
with love and compassion.”
— Gordon Robertson, President

“I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’…‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.” — Matthew 25:36-40 ESV

“I don’t know what’s in store for our teams in the days ahead, but we’re always ready to go on your behalf and respond at times when people need us most.”
Prayer
Father God, we come to you in need—because you are Father of mercies and God of all comfort.
We’re so thankful you’ve rescued so many disaster survivors and given them a way to move forward and start again.
You are God of new beginnings, and we trust you to make a way for each and every individual.
Provide the relief that suffering people need after the trauma of disaster, and send your people to comfort them and give them help and hope.
Let us be a part of your work together, blessing those in need as we have been blessed when we have been in need!
You promised to do abundantly beyond all we ask or think, so we ask you for rescue and recovery for devastated communities—trusting you’ll do yet more.
We entrust hurting families and weary relief workers and volunteers to you, Lord, asking you to renew their strength and sustain them in the hour of trouble.
We pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

About Operation Blessing
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” — Matthew 7:12 ESV
In 1978, Pat Robertson made a surprising announcement on live TV that would change the world. Inspired by Isaiah 58, he launched Operation Blessing, urging viewers to share their resources with those in need.
That simple idea became one of the world’s largest global humanitarian organizations, partnering with friends like you for over 40 years to alleviate suffering for the poor and those in crisis. Wherever disaster strikes, we feel called to go in Jesus’ name—bringing help and hope to a hurting world.
“Is not this the fast that I choose…to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him…? — Isaiah 58:6-7 ESV
PS: God loves YOU—and so do we.
