It was an ordinary day in 1978 when Pat Robertson announced on live TV, “I’ve got a surprise!” Little did anyone know that this moment would mark the beginning of an extraordinary journey—one that would transform countless lives across the globe. For over four decades since, compassionate friends like you have reached out to hurting people in more than 120 countries and territories, bringing hope to millions through hunger relief, medical care, clean water, children’s programs, and disaster relief. Together, we’ve rushed to the scene of countless crises—famines, wars, and natural disasters, to name a few—and fought to turn the tide of systemic poverty.
