Orphan’s Promise is a program of Operation Blessing dedicated to helping orphaned and vulnerable children move from at-risk to thriving through education, nutrition, discipleship, safe spaces, and family-focused support.

Every child deserves to grow in a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. But poverty, displacement, limited resources, and other hardships can place tremendous strain on vulnerable families. Whenever it is safely possible, we do everything we can to keep these families together.

Through supporting parents, offering guidance, and even providing job training and opportunities, you can help families to thrive—allowing them to stay together and grow strong.

Helping a Family Build Stability in Peru

In Iquitos, Peru, Naivy and her husband worked hard to provide for their three children, Milenka, Franco Paulo, and Hammed. Even with both parents earning an income, the family struggled to afford food and other essentials.

Through an Orphan’s Promise program at Franco’s school, Naivy received support to begin raising chickens. The program provided the family with a source of nutritious food and an opportunity to earn additional income.

With greater stability at home, Naivy and her husband are better equipped to care for their children and plan for the future. This is a perfect example of how you can provide a practical opportunity that strengthens an entire family.

Supporting Foster Families in Ukraine

Conflict and displacement have left many children in Ukraine facing loss, instability, and uncertain futures. Thankfully, foster families have opened their homes to provide children with care, consistency, and a sense of belonging during an incredibly difficult time.

Through Orphan’s Promise, foster families can receive practical resources and ongoing support that help them care for the children entrusted to them.

By strengthening these families, Orphan’s Promise helps vulnerable children experience safer homes, supportive relationships, and renewed hope for the future.
