A Family of Five Finds Stability in Peru
In Iquitos, Peru, a mother named Naivy worked tirelessly to feed her three children—Milenka, Franco Paulo, and Hammed—by selling food near her home. Even with her husband’s income, they could barely make ends meet, and there was never enough left over for other essentials.
When Operation Blessing learned about their situation, we stepped in through a poultry program launched at Franco’s school. The program offered Naivy a way to raise chickens, giving her both food for her family and a reliable source of income.
Today, Naivy’s family is stronger and more secure—proof that even a small opportunity can create lasting change for a family in need.
